Molotov joins the American group fuboTV

Molotov, the #1 TV streaming platform launched in France in 2016, joins fuboTV (NYSE: FUBO), the leading US TV streaming platform for live TV and sports programs, becoming the European hub of the group's operations. JeanDavid Blanc, founder of Molotov, remains president of the company and also becomes Chief Strategy Officer.

Molotov, France’s first OTT television streaming platform, announces a milestone in its development by joining the US group fuboTV Inc. (NYSE: FUBO), the leading US TV streaming platform for live TV and sports programs.
The operation is carried out through the acquisition of Molotov by fuboTV in the form of a cash and share transaction for an amount of $190 million (164.3 M€). The acquisition is subject to customary requisite approvals and closing conditions. It is estimated to close sometime during the first quarter of 2022.
The objective is to allow the deployment of a global platform on the two continents and internationally, Molotov being destined to become the European hub of the operations of the group.
Molotov will remain chaired and managed by its founder president JeanDavid Blanc, who is also appointed Chief Strategy Officer. The company, based in Paris and already made up of around a hundred people, intends to expand in order to become a development hub for the group.
