Molotov reports over 100,000 international subscribers in less than 3 months

Launched in December 2020 in Ivory Coast and in January 2021 in Senegal, Molotov has already reached the 100,000 subscriber mark in these two countries.

To support the public's enthusiasm for the platform, Molotov is also strengthening its local partnerships:

• As part of the launch in Senegal, new content is added such as the public channels RTS1 and ​RTS2​, or the documentary "Made in Senegal" about ​Sadio Mané​, the Senegalese football star, available exclusively on Molotov.
• Agreements have been made with local operators such as Orange and MTN to promote Molotov to their customers.

In these countries, 26 television channels and content publishers are now available on Molotov, including: channels from the Trace​ group, ​Africa News, Passions TV, Savannah TV​, Nina Novelas, France 24, Euronews​, 6 SVoD ​WAX channels, 7 ​BOX channels, ​Gourmand TV and ​Top Santé TV​, and ​Game Toon​.

Molotov continues its international expansion with the opening of the service in Cameroon in March, in Burkina Faso and Tunisia in April, then in Guinea and the Democratic Republic of Congo, before a wider deployment in the rest of French-speaking Africa during the first half of the year, in partnership with Digital Virgo.
